Build Financial Confidence That Actually Sticks

We're running personal finance workshops through autumn 2025 because most people know they should budget better, but somehow never get around to it. Our six-month program gives you time to develop habits that work with your actual life, not some theoretical version of it.

Three Phases Over Six Months

Starting October 2025, we're working with small groups of 12 people. This isn't a quick fix thing. Financial habits need time to settle in, and honestly, it takes about three months before tracking expenses stops feeling like homework.

1

Foundation Work

First eight weeks focus on understanding where your money actually goes. We use real bank statements because made-up examples don't help anyone. Most participants discover three subscriptions they forgot about.

2

Building Systems

Weeks 9 through 16 are about creating routines that fit your schedule. Some people check their budget daily, others weekly. Both work fine. We help you figure out what suits your brain.

3

Long-Term Planning

Final eight weeks cover retirement accounts, emergency funds, and dealing with irregular income. Not everyone needs investment advice, but everyone needs a plan for unexpected car repairs.

What Changed For Past Participants

Werner's Challenge

Started the February 2024 group with credit card debt and no clear picture of spending patterns. By month three, he'd identified that eating lunch out was costing him around 280 dollars monthly. Not revolutionary, but seeing the actual number helped him make different choices.

Patricia's Shift

Joined us in May 2024 thinking she needed investment advice. Turns out she needed a system for handling freelance income that arrives irregularly. We worked on smoothing out the ups and downs, and she finished the program with four months of expenses saved.

Rosemary's Breakthrough

Her issue was partnering with someone who had completely different money habits. The couples workshop module in week 11 gave them language to talk about finances without arguing. They're still working on it, but at least they have a shared budget now.

Enrollment Opens July 2025

We're keeping groups small on purpose. Twelve people means everyone gets attention during workshops, and we can adjust pace based on how the group's doing. Classes meet twice monthly on Tuesday evenings, plus you get access to individual check-ins.

Program cost is 1840 dollars, which breaks down to roughly 77 dollars per week over six months. That includes all materials, workshop access, and follow-up support through March 2026. We also offer a payment plan because we'd be pretty hypocritical charging finance students a lump sum they can't afford.

Jul

Applications Open

Submit your application between July 1-31. We review on a rolling basis and notify you within one week. Spaces fill up, so earlier is better.

Aug

Orientation Sessions

August brings three optional orientation sessions where you meet the cohort and get familiar with our tools. Not required, but most people find it helpful.

Oct

Program Begins

First official session starts October 7, 2025. We meet every other Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Virtual attendance available for those who need it.
